Reggie - In The Frame

"Many of us still know John Challis as the irrepressible Boycie, but perhaps we should get to know him as a novelist in the mould of the late Tom Sharpe. This is an assured, irreverent and very funny debut"

Brian Viner, award winning author & Journalist

Reggie - In The Frame

By John Challis

£10.00 + £3.50 P&P

Reggie ffinch-Leigh, trading for a living after years of leisure, thinks he’s found the perfect answer, dealing in fake pictures – Sexton Blakes – of 18th & 19th century British artists. He finds a source of high-quality ‘school-of’ paintings in Florence, and arranges to bring back a consignment.
He immediately sells them all for a good profit. He thinks he’s been pretty smart and is congratulating himself, with plans to build the business, when the real reasons for his success turn out to have very little to do with his own talents and, though innocent of any crimes himself, he ends up having his collar felt. But, once again, he gets away with it.
