At Wigmore Books complaints are rare. However, we do take any complaints seriously and have strict procedures in place to ensure that they are dealt with fairly and effectively. If you encounter any problems or require any advice regarding your purchase, please contact us. We regard the satisfaction of each and every customer as central to our business and will always give any complaint the highest priority. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Ordering and Payment
Orders may be placed only via our secure website. Having placed an order via the website, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order.
Methods of Payment
We currently accept payment only by Paypal through which you may use your Visa, Mestro, Solo atVisa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo payment cards.

Please allow 10 days before contacting us to chase up your order.
Availability
All our products are normally available for immediate despatch. If a book is temporarily out of stock or you have requested a specific dedication and John Challis is not currently available to sign, we will contact you by e-mail and offer you an estimated despatch date and the option of cancelling your order and receiving a full refund.
We endeavour to meet all our order requests promptly and efficiently but cannot be held responsible or offer compensation for any disappointment experienced if we fail to meet our designated delivery time. If, however, any delay is due to availability we will undertake to keep you informed.
Despatch
Goods are usually despatched within 3 working days of receipt of your order, often sooner. In the UK the books are usually sent by courier or, if less than 3 books, by Royal Mail second class post (taking approximately 3 days) and for overseas orders the books are sent airmail. Please allow 7 days for delivery in the UK, 14 days for Eire and Europe and up to 21 days for the USA.
Please note if you wish to order books in time for Christmas, the last day for second class post is usually around 5 working days before Christmas. Therefore, if you wish to order books after that time or at short notice at any other time of the year, please
contact us via info@wigmorebooks.com and we try to help if we can and arrange for first class post or courier delivery for a small additional charge.
Returns policy
At Wigmore Books we pride ourselves on the quality of our service, and always endeavour to meet the high standards we feel our customers deserve. We pack the books you order with care so that they arrive in pristine condition.
If for whatever reason a book needs to be returned, we offer a 'no quibble' returns policy as long as goods are returned in the same condition as they were received, in a saleable condition and in their original packing within 14 days of receipt.
Please let us know the reason for return on an accompanying letter. You will be given a choice of receiving a replacement book, or a refund. A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty books, being sent. In this instance we will also ensure that the recipient is fully reimbursed for the postage costs incurred in returning the item.
